Looking to intimidate all of the other figurines on your toy shelf? You may want to check out Hot Toys' 1/6th scale recreation of
Assassin's Creed 2 protagonist, Ezio
Audisomethingorother -- which comes complete with a set of interchangeable hands, knives, swords and even a ponytail.
There's no word on price right now, but the figure is planned to launch in Q3. Considering its 30 points of articulation, 30cm height, real metal weapons and complex uniform -- not to mention the
going rate on some of Hot Toys' other figures -- you'll probably want to start saving your Florins right now.

Just in time for
Sonic's birthday, high-end figure company First 4 Figures is taking pre-orders on a new statue of the hedgehog hero's occasional Chaos Emerald-infused Super Saiyan form, Super Sonic. The figure depicts Super Sonic in the "classic" Genesis-era art style, sparking across a platform in
Sonic 2's Chemical Plant Zone.
If you want to buy one of these 15-inch-tall figures, you'll have to dig up some Chaos Emeralds or other precious materials of your own. Two versions will ship in the first quarter next year:
one for $140 and a
deluxe version that lights up for twenty dollars more.

There's a war going on at the moment in the land of Valkyia Chronicles. Not between the Imperials and the Gallians, though. It's between Japanese toy companies, over who can come up with the best Selvaria figure.
We've seen Enterbrain's entry, and it's a good one. This is figure company Alter's. While the prototype figure pictured is yet to pick up an official release date or price, we do know it'll feature interchangeable weapons and hands, Selvaria's lance and shield able to be swapped out.
As usual, you have to admire the dedication of the guys taking the photos (in this case, moeyo). Always willing to get in there and get the super close shots.

DC Unlimited is back with two more series of World of Warcraft figures, featuring Orcs, Trolls, Worgens and even a human.
Series 7 of the line's regular pieces features Judge Malthred, Garona and Garm Whitefang, while series 3 of DC's premium line includes Garrosh Hellscream and Taz'Dingo.
Both lines will be out in October, and in case you're worried about pricing, the regular figures can normally be had for around $30, while the premium ones shouldn't cost any more than $50.

While they were first revealed in January, courtesy of a blurry magazine scan, that was no way to get a good look at DC Direct's line of Mass Effect 2 figures. This is.
The first line will feature four characters: Commander Shepard (male), Tali, Thane and Grunt. Shepard is a little...off, not just because my Shepard looks different, but because he doesn't even look much like the "standard" model in the game. The rest, though, especially Thane and Grunt, look great.
Those wondering who will feature in the second series, it'll comprise Miranda, Legion, Mordin and Garrus.

When we got our first look at the action figures of the upcoming Prince of Persia movie, some of the items from the line were absent. Like Aksh, the Prince's trusty steed!
Aksh will come with a Prince figure and some dainty horse armour horse decorations, and will cost $15 when released later this year. To add a little set-piece drama to Aksh and the Prince's plastic adventures, you'll also be able to grab this "Alamut Gate" playset, which has a working portcullis and "hidden compartments". It'll go for $20.
